My role: As the HBI Life Insurance Specialist, I lead the initiative to provide our advisors with insurance-related education, access to products, and support to best address their clients' insurance/risk management needs. HBI and our strategic partners provide services to drive practice revenue, defend against competing advisors, and deliver future generations of clients.
Service excellence means: I believe service excellence means delivering timely, accurate, and actionable information that helps the customer. It can be reactive (customer has a question or problem) or proactive (sharing useful information that will benefit the customer that they didn't even ask for). I believe service excellence builds loyalty and trust.
Best advice I've ever been given: Be persistent. My father shared Calvin Coolidge's famous quote on a plaque when I went to college: "Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent."
